Teachers in the school use the Smart Board to create and present their own digital content for effective teaching and learning. Science and Mathematics teachers mainly prepare their own PowerPoint presentations and animated PPTs to explain different concepts clearly to the students.
During Science teaching, supportive online educational videos are shown through the Smart Board to make the topics more interesting and easy to understand. For example, videos on topics such as “How did the dinosaurs become extinct?”, “The Big Bang Theory”, “ISRO”, and “Satellite Launching” are shown to students.
Mathematics teachers prepare their own PowerPoint presentations and solve problems step-by-step on the Smart Board. This method helps students clearly understand mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.
Online Science Practical Activities
Science practical activities are demonstrated through Smart Boards in a simple and interactive way. Students actively participate in performing practical activities from the Class 9 and Class 10 Science textbooks.
PhET Simulations
Students perform virtual experiments such as finding the pH of solutions using PhET simulations, which helps them understand chemical properties and reactions in an interactive environment.
Chemistry Experiments
Students perform experiments like Titration – Reaction between Acid and Base and learn to write formulas of chemical compounds through digital guidance on the Smart Board.
Physics Concept Visualization
Teachers demonstrate concepts like Ray diagrams of light refraction, plane mirror images, and refraction of light through glass using animated digital diagrams.
Interactive Teaching
Teachers use Smart Boards and interactive panels to make lessons engaging and encourage students to participate actively during classroom activities.
